-testing install strategies: sriver bricks to hold a painting up
(I enjoy the material connect of the concrete referencing other paintings as well as colour and location.)
-small painting is a soft rag stretched over wood, with cement poured behind, playing with an almost soft / hard material idea, I enjoy the abstraction and colour, the soft rag lets the back ground faintly come through giving the boarder of the backing to show a little but not dominating.
-Medium canvases: colours soft, thinking about positioning things such as figure but also how much I am displaying in these works not to over power but consider the approach to painting. Colour tests.
-Seeing the triangles in a space in relation to the works, how could they be displayed if not the intended original way, could they play off of the paintings individually instead.
-Colour paintings are being worked on slowly (no image) some are being worked on and drying ect, may be ready in a few days trying to to rush the setting times.
These two are currently going into the Oddly show, potential to have at EOY but most likely not. Thinking of colour, imagery, and amount shown / played around.
